A folding chair is a light portable chair that can be stored in a stack, row or on a specially designed cart (or dolley). They are usually used for seating large amounts of people in an arena where permanent seating is not possible or practical. This includes mostly large outdoor or indoor cultural events such as funerals, college graduation, religious sermons and sport and athletic games and competitions. In the private sphere, folding chairs are used for any social situation requiring extra seating such as parties, card games, and temporary seating at the dinner table. They typically weigh between 2 to 5 kilos (five to ten pounds) and are produced in a variety of styles, folding mechanisms and materials.
portable chairs online can be quite a hassle. After all, many suppliers promise great deals on wholesale portable chairs that are designed to stand the tests of time, but few of these manufacturers have the production capacity to deliver on their promises. Indeed, many so-called "durable" and "heavy-duty" chairs that are retailed at name-brand markets collapse or tear during normal use.
That's why we at Koolest Products developed our line of exclusive portable chairs. Our goal at Koolest Products is to deliver top-shelf inventory to our customers at incredibly competitive prices. We are a family owned business, we are confident in our products, and we are confident your family and friends will appreciate the high quality and craftmanship in our products.
Easy to Use Portable Chairs
Which of our compact folding chairs are the most portable? Our flagship model, office
chair the Max Monster, safely supports 800 pounds and is perfect for many applications, but you might want to go with a lighter model if you're camping or traveling. The Kool Single, our original chair, holds 500 pounds and only weighs 10 pounds. The Single comes with a carrying bag, and its dimensions are wide--21 1/2 inches wide, 21 1/2 inches deep, and 17 inches from the seat to the ground.
For an even lighter model, consider our Sit N Chill. This model holds 350 pounds--which is still a higher capacity than the cheap chairs found in many discount stores. The Sit N Chill weighs in at a mere four-point-five pounds, and it also comes with a sleek carrying bag. In addition, the Sit N Chill has a carrying strap for easy tote-ability.
Portability (10 possible points): An outdoor chair must be portable. If portability weren't a factor, you'd take your Barcalounger to the beach. It should be relatively light and not cumbersome. A carrying strap is nice, too. Ease of setup (10 possible points): If a chair takes more than, say, eight seconds to set up, I want no part of it. Also, it shouldn't require instructions. Why? It's a chair, that's why. Comfort (10 possible points): No bar should hit me in the back of the neck or knee. While I don't expect it to be as comfy as my couch, I don't want to feel like I'm being tortured, either. Design (10 possible points): A catch-all for attractiveness and features, with an emphasis on simplicity. I like a nifty cup holder as much as the next guy, but let's not get too fancy.

Folding chairs, however, are a smart, stowaway solution for spatially-challenged hosts. And we’re not talking about those flimsy, run-of-the-mill chairs. We’re talking about products that deserve a place in a design enthusiast’s home, like those by Patrick Jouin for Unica Home (above) or the other interesting chairs pictured below.
the other day someone wrote in looking for fun folding chairs. we found a few nice modern options but for the most part we didn’t love anything in a major way. then i came across these ibiza folding chairs ($36 each in blue and green) at sprout home this weekend and thought they were super cute. they’re certainly not the most comfortable option i saw, but they’d be painfully perfect for a quick summer bbq or backyard fête. if only they came in a sunshine bright yellow. then i’d be tempted to buy them as summer rooftop chairs. i can taste the mojitos now…
